Meet Mike & Jo Baird

Mike and Jo Baird are the founders of B&B Taxidermy, a family-owned business they launched together in 1983. What began as a small shop has grown into a nationally respected name in high-end taxidermy, trusted by hunters, collectors, and outfitters across the world.
Mike brings over four decades of experience and an unmatched eye for detail. His deep understanding of anatomy, wildlife behavior, and natural movement has made him a leader in the craft. Every mount is a blend of precision and passion, telling the story of the animal it represents.
Jo is the heartbeat of the business. Her steady presence, dedication, and behind-the-scenes work have been essential to B&B’s growth and success. From managing the flow of day-to-day operations to keeping the team grounded and focused, Jo ensures everything runs with care and consistency.
Together, Mike and Jo have built more than a business, they’ve built a legacy rooted in quality, authenticity, and family tradition. Their vision continues to shape every mount that leaves their shop.
Meet Frank, Kristin, Hunter & Hudson
The next Generation of B&B Taxidermy
Frank Baird, son of founders Mike and Jo, proudly carries on the family legacy at B&B Taxidermy. With a strong foundation in craftsmanship and conservation passed down through generations, Frank brings skill, drive, and a deep understanding of both the technical and artistic sides of taxidermy. Whether he’s in the shop overseeing mounts or in the field working closely with clients, Frank continues to raise the bar for quality and innovation.
His wife, Kristin, is an essential part of the business, managing social media and working closely alongside Frank both at shows and out in the field. From hunting show floors to international hunts, she’s always by his side, handling logistics, building relationships, and capturing the story behind each experience. Through her content, Kristin brings the heart of B&B to life, connecting clients and followers to the craftsmanship, people, and passion behind the brand.
Their sons, Hunter and Hudson, are growing up immersed in the world of wildlife, family tradition, and hands-on learning. Whether they’re tagging along on hunts, at shows or hanging out in the shop, they’re already part of the B&B story, and maybe one day, its future.
Together, Frank, Kristin & the boys represent the next generation of B&B Taxidermy, carrying forward its values, evolving its reach, and keeping the family legacy alive for years to come.
